I'm currently planning another 2 week, low budget, independent trip to Ecuador for Feb 2007 and was wondering if anybody on here would be interested in making it a small, independent, group trip. Public transport would be used, local taxis where available, plus lots of walking. Also with so many amazing insects etc to see and great photo opportunities it would appeal to the more general naturalist. Must be physically fit due to the high altitude and serious slopes, birding at 14,000ft+. So far interest shown by an experienced Seattle birder with plenty of neotropical experience. Room for 2 more.........Body armour and AK47 not essential.
