Just spent a few day in Rome. Never left the city but saw the following whilst siteseeing. Lanner Falcon...................Quite a few - mainly in pairs Yellow Legged Gulls ............Even one on the Trevi Fountain Sardinian Warbler..............Very noisey ! Monk Parakeet...................Noisey Bas....ds White Wagtails Hooded Crows Rock Sparrow...................Alot of young birds House Sparrow 'Italian' Sparrow.................Apparently what the locals call a cross between Spanish and House Sparrow. Malard...............................Just the one! Grey Wagtail Blackbird Starling Not bad when you wern't looking for them (or that's what I told the wife!) Looks like I did not miss much whilst I was away. Regards, Bob And an Otter in the River under a busy bridge! |
