Post subject:  An Englishman in New York

I've been staying with friends at the S tip of Manhattan. In the tiny park outside their apartment, apart from the uisual residents, there have been plenty of candidates for migration passing through. If they turn up in Lincs hang on to them until I get back.

American Kestrel
Black and White Warbler
Palm Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Mourning Warbler
Northern Parula
Commmon Yellowthroat
Grey Catbird
American Robin
Grey-cheeked Thrush
White-throated Sparrow
Brown Thrasher

And loads of Monarch Butterflies

John

PS I see that a Blackpoll has reached Scilly already
