Just back from a weekend in Belgium. Pre xmas shopping trip so no birding gear taken but observed the following 2 Buzzard (perched by the roadside) between Zebbrugge and Bruges 1 Peregrine seen on a few occasions, living on the tower of the Church of our Lady in Bruges 6 Treecreeper (very used to people so quite tame and not bothered about us being close to them) Lots of Blue/great/longtail tit 1 Great Crested Grebe Lots Mute Swan, Greylag Geese and Cormorant M&M |

In Belgium, if at low altitude, the Treecreepers would most probably have been Short-toed Treecreepers. |
