Mini-cruise with family. Hull to Bruges via Zeebrugee 7 March 2009 38 bird species noted including gannets and common scoters near Zeebrugee. Centre of Bruges yielded a peregrine on top of church and several short-toed treecreepers in gardens and parks. Other birds included jay, great crested grebe, oystercatchers, sparrowhawk and shelducks. Shame most of North Sea crossings were in darkness! Cheers Brian |
