Lincs Barn Owl Project 2011

We are pleased to announce the return of the Lincs Barn Owl Project - http://www.lincsbirdclub.co.uk/owlcam.html

The cost of the equipment has been sponsored by Northern Optics Binoculars - See http://shop.northernoptics.co.uk/hawke- ... rs-2-c.asp
The Lincolnshire Bird Club is grateful to Northern Optic for sponsoring the equipment used to run the Lincolnshire Barn Owl project. More details on Northern Optics can be found at http://shop.northernoptics.co.uk/hawke- ... rs-2-c.asp.

Please note we have a small spider issue with the webcam at the moment! We will look to removed them when the chick's are ringed......

Andrew

Please Note: The Lincs Barn Owl Project is run under license, and all photographic equipment was installed before birds took up territory.

I found this a really interesting thread with plenty of blog reports (incl. 2010) and video footage. I think the image of the Barn Owl Project nestbox gives the whole thread a notable atmosphere.

Great news that there are now three chicks in the nestbox. One hopes that this year history will not repeat itself and that No. 3 chick won't become a food item for one of its siblings.

Congratulations to the Project Team. =D> =D>

Freddy
