LBC is a member of the Greater Lincs Nature Partnership who take the lead on developing and monitoring biodiversity action plans for different habitats in Lincolnshire. Until she recently retired from LBC's committee Anne Goodall was our Biodiversity officer and attended the GLNP meetings for all the different habitats. We have since carved up the numerous groups Anne attended between various LBC committee members and volunteers. All that is required is to attend two meetings a year and keep LBC informed of any developments and offer input where needed.
Unfortunately we have one habitat group uncovered, the Urban Habitat group which has its next meeting on Friday 6 March at 10.00 am at Banovallum House, Horncastle. I would go myself but I have to be in court (as a witness not a defendant).
If anyone has a particular interest in urban birds or getting involved in the mechanics of this process and can attend on 6 March could you get in touch with me to discuss either via phone on 07966 325380 or by private mail over the forum.
