MSQ THIS MORNING; a Lesser blacked Backed gull flew in to the b h gull colony and took a fair sized chick,landed nearby,pecked away at it before swallowing whole,never seen that before.o/w quite. regards, Roger. |

Roger See Russell Hayes posting for June 12th last year at Frieston Shore when a herring gull killed and ate a young black headed gull. If memory serves me right it was just about fully grown Nature at work but gruesome just the same |
