Lincs Bird Club AGM

Lapland and Arctic Norway

Graham is a founder member of the Bird Club and a past County Recorder, widely known and respected, within and beyond Lincolnshire, for his breadth of knowledge of birds – world-wide – and his excellent photography. This talk will be sure to have many members booking a trip to this fascinating area!

Notes

1. Andrew Chick has served as acting Hon Chairman since the last AGM and the committee proposes that he now be elected Hon Chairman. Alternative proposals for this position, which must be for a paid-up member, duly seconded and including confirmation that the member proposed is prepared to serve, must be received by the Hon Sec on or before 16th March 2010.

The Hon Secretary, Janet Eastmead, intends to retire at this AGM. Proposals for this position, which must be for a paid-up member, duly seconded and including confirmation that the member proposed is prepared to serve, must be received by the Hon Sec on or before 16th March 2010.

Three committee members, Bill Sterling, Colin Jennings and Sheila Jennings come to the end of their term of office at this AGM and the committee proposes that they be re-elected.

The following members, John Clarkson, Roy Harvey, Grahame Hopwood, Phil Hyde and Stephen Routledge were co-opted to serve on the committee during the last year and the committee proposes that all five now be elected onto the committee.

2. The committee proposes that Ms Wendy Beasley be re-elected to serve as auditor for the calendar year 2009.

3. Motions for debate, which must be proposed and seconded by paid-up members, must be received by the Hon Sec on or before 16th March 2010.
