LBC RECORDS FOR 2009 The process of collecting data for the LBC database, and from which the 2009 LBC report will be complied has been completed. The grand total is 45932 (the total doesn’t include WeBS data and data from the Gibraltar Point dataset – although this information is available for use in the 2009 annual report) The sources of data used include: LBC Forum: Lincs Bird Reports section Lincs Birds Escape Records Casual Records from non-members Confidential Records from members and non-members Private messages Emails sent to Colin Jennings Emails sent to Webmaster Emails sent to County Recorder Paper records sent to County Recorder Members’ personal records via Bird Recorder, Wildlife Recorder, Spreadsheets and LBC Template Birdguides BTO Birdtrack Birklands Ringing Group Mid-Lincs Ringing Group Scunthorpe Ornithological Society Whisby Bird Report Grimsby Area Members’ Group RSPB Frampton and Freiston There are still a number of other data sets that could be added, but unfortunately we do not have the volunteers to input these additional records.
