| Post subject: | Long eared owls? |
Hearing what i think are young long-eared owls calling in a wood near me at the moment. Sounds like the squeeky gate talked about in the books and have listened to audio as well. Is it too late in the summer to hear young birds? Any ideas on the likelihood? Ian Birch |

A similar squeaky call from recently fledged Sparrowhawks can be heard in woods at the moment. |
