| Post subject: | BTO/LBC Lincs Winter Bird Race 6 - 9 Jan 2011 |
BTO and LBC have organised a winter bird race with a difference for 6 to 9 January 2011. We want to promote the final year of the BTO Atlas and to record as many wintering species as possible in each 10k square in Lincs. The winner will be the one that adds the most species to the 10 km square they have covered. Full details and how to enter can be found at our new blog http://btolincs.blogspot.com/ . The prize, which will be presented at our BTO regional conference at Lincoln on 16 April 2011, will be a pair of Opticron binoculars donated by the BTO. The BTO Lincs team, Richard and Kay Heath, Peter Overton, Chris Gunn and me would like to thank Andrew Chick and LBC for facilitating our new blog. |
