Hi, For the past two-three weeks there have been in the region of 10-15 THOUSAND scoter off Friskney in the Wash. The scoter are too far to see well from the land, but Steve Keightley and I are trying to arrange a boat trip. If the birds are still present and the weather is favourable we hope to arrange a trip on the Mystere departing from Boston Marina (probably) on Sat 2 or Sun 3 April. The trip will last about 8 hours and cost around £30 each (based on a full boat of 20 people). I would say there is a very good chance of Lincolnshire's first Surf Scoter in a flock of this size.... Cheers, John & Steve |

Oh I should also mention it's first come first served, there are 18 spaces remaining! |
