quite surprised to see a brood of 6 small Mallard ducklings at Rosper Road pools on the 29th -- I am pretty sure this is the earliest ever wild Mallard brood I have come across |

There was a brood of 7 mallard ducklings in a dyke near Crook Bank last saturday 2603 which suprised me. regards John. |

One brood of 9 on the Slea at Sleaford also last Saturday 26th, and two ducklings that were 7 - 10 days old ! Alan |

Had a brood of 9 at Hibaldstow with 5 unhatched eggs left in the nest. You could argue they aren't actually wild |
