News from St Wulfram's Church, Grantham

Well done to Bob Sheppard and Alan Ball for setting up the nesting tray for the Peregrines at St Wulfram's Church again this year. The TV in the church is live, and can now be viewed during normal openning times.

Hopefully there will be live images on the birdclub website soon.

On the 2nd March 2012 both birds were seen in the nesting tray for the first time, hopefully indicating that the birds will nest again at this site (fingers-crossed). The images below show just a single bird recorded in the nesting tray at approx 14.00hrs.

Great news that we may well be able to enjoy watching the Grantham Peregrines on the webcam again this year. I personally spent many enjoyable hours last year watching the progress from eggs to fledged young. I also look forward to visiting St. Wulfram's Church again...... hopefully seeing the birds in the flesh/feathers and certainly sampling the snacks and drinks section manned as ever by such helpful and cheerful volunteers. All highly recommended.

Congratulations to the LBC Grantham team for this year's work......Bob, Alan and Andrew. :D :)

http://www.lincsbirdclub.co.uk/pegcam.html is now up and running.

We are experience some 'delays' with the image. I would like feedback if this is the case for others?

Thanks Andrew

Andrew,

If it helps........
At the approx. time of this post, I've been clicking onto the pegcam website, immediately accessing "Home".

I'm then getting a c.1minute 35 second delay before the 'live' picture appears.

Freddy
PS. The video highlights from 2011 give us great promise for 2012. :D :)

The birds have been seen briefly in the nest tray - BUT today they are just sitting out of view!

And, a little while later we get some interesting behaviour by the male in the nesting tray.
