If you look at today's bird of the day on the BTO Atlas website
http://www.bto.org/volunteer-surveys/bi ... of-the-dayyou'll see that hybrid Carrion x Hooded Crow was confirmed breeding in northern Lincolnshire during 2008-2011 (together with several non-breeding records in Lincolnshire and other confirmed breeding probably in Nottinghamshire). You need to look today, as it'll be replaced tomorrow.
Does anyone agree with me that these records are surprising? I would assume that all records in these areas have been validated as part of the Atlas processes. Or am I missing something and these records are not reaching LBC for the reports?
