If you look at today's bird of the day on the BTO Atlas website http://www.bto.org/volunteer-surveys/bi ... of-the-day you'll see that hybrid Carrion x Hooded Crow was confirmed breeding in northern Lincolnshire during 2008-2011 (together with several non-breeding records in Lincolnshire and other confirmed breeding probably in Nottinghamshire). You need to look today, as it'll be replaced tomorrow. Does anyone agree with me that these records are surprising? I would assume that all records in these areas have been validated as part of the Atlas processes. Or am I missing something and these records are not reaching LBC for the reports? Andrew |

I can not confirm any breeding records for the period 2008-2011 but one Hybrid was seen at Chapel Point in November 2007 with a full Hooded seen the same month at Theddlethorpe Other pictures in the album from Hooded Crows seen in 2010 at Tetney |
