Lincolnshire County Council is asking for Lincolnshire residents' opinion on windfarm development via a survey at:-
http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/resident ... ind-farms/Unfortunately it's just a case of ticking boxes and there is nowhere to leave general feedback - such as how dangerous wind turbines are for birds especially those that fly at night. The result may be to install even more out at sea where they will pose a significant risk to seabirds and migrating birds at night trying to reach Lincolnshire. For anyone in any doubt about their effect on birds - just google 'Altamont Pass Windfarm' in the US where thousands of birds of prey have been "(s)wiped out".
