Could anybody who was thinking of visiting the Mere for the Bitterns in the next few days note that the hide was trashed by vandals sometime yesterday. I have been down today to tidy up and assess the damage and the hide is still usable, (two of the viewing flaps are missing), so please don't let that put you off your visit. We will endeavour to carry out the necessary repairs as soon as possible. In the meantime any further problems can be reported to me or Phil at Whisby NP on 01522 500676. Many thanks Grahame |
