Hi,

Please see below for a request for a volunteer;

"We at 'Nature Spaces', a budding new online Nature Magazine, are designing a bio-diverse, ecologically sound Bee Garden in the 32 acres of grounds of E.H Thorne, Beehive Business Park, Rand , Nr. Wragby, LN8 5NJ . The Thorne site is one of the on going projects that will be featured in our Magazine and will make a beautifull, interesting use of their site.

Do any of you know of a 'very' knowledgable 'birder' that would like to walk the site and chat about the birds the see and how they fit in with the local bird population. Amongst our number at Thornes and at Nature Spaces we do have quite a lot of nature knowledge but there is nothing like the local take on things.

One of the projects we are carrying out on the site is Wild Flower Meadows and Demonstration Plots of varying sorts of the same. It is of interest to us to have seed available through the winter for a variety of birds and although of course we have done a lot of research into seed mixes for wild life, it is a big, relativley new subject and if any of your members have personal knowledge of the effectiveness of a particular mix we would be very interest to know."

If interested please contact: sarah@naturespaces.org

John
