Why hasn't anyone written anything on the blog for this year? Seems strange there is nowt.

Sorry John. Have had technical problems accessing the blog, but all sorted now. Will try and keep updating it on a reglar basis. They've not started to breed yet. Barn Owls virtually all across Lincolnshire have been severely affected by this years cold winter/spring and a lack of food. It's possible that 75% have perished, so we are lucky to still have this pair - but it is likely to be a while before they are in good enough condition to breed. Alan |
