I received my 2011 report yesterday lunch time and would like to thank the LBC for a splendid report. I spent my whole evening leafing through the pages last evening and thoroughly enjoyed the content - brilliant. |

The report is credit to a huge amount of effort put in by a number of people so it is always somewhat disrespectful to single out anyone but knowing just how much work and hassle there is with organising everything into a well respected final product I think we all owe a large debt to Andrew Chick for what he has done to revitalise the annual report get the LBR into its present state while maintaining the continued improvements in the report content and managing to balance the input of all the hard working volunteers, who as noted spend so many hours of their free time to the benefit of Lincs ornithology. Please recommend the report to people you meet outside the county / country and help to sell a few more copies. |

I have lived in many parts of England and, therefore, received many annual reports of local interest. This is amongst the best. Richard... |

I lived in Norfolk some years ago and the bird report was the highlight of the birding year. I then moved to Lincolnshire in 1996 and was disappointed to find that there wasn’t a bird report for the county. I was very pleased when this was rectified and each year the standard seems to improve, the 2011 report is just an incredible source of information, a delight to leaf through and a testament to all the hard work that must have been put in, surely it must be one of the best county reports available. |

Thanks for not mentioning it was out a little bit later this time around. I think we're going to start on 2012 earlier to see if we can bring publication nearer to the beginning of 2014.....so please ensure we've got all your 2012 records, descriptions etc! Thanks, John |
