After leaving work @6am i drove to saxby to check date for open gardens (which is today..16 june)
I detour to horkstow bridge then take a slow drive home through ferriby then winterton back to scunny..nothing to report home bird wise..i put kettle on & while waiting im looking out the window at the wood pigeons thinking how well they must eat cos they were huge (im not a fan)..wait for it..here it comes...wahey..a woodpecker..only GS but none the less a woodpecker out my window..i have whilst writing a rather large smile..my next port of call is to now go hang a tub of green paint on the tree with a very loose lid..
