The weather stayed fine for the ringing demonstration and 135 birds were ringed and 24 retrapped. Best retrap was a Reed Warbler ringed in 2006 which has clocked up many thousands of miles migrating to Africa and back at least 7 times. New birds included 60 x Reed Warbler, 26 X Sedge Warbler with smaller numbers of Whitethroat, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Yellow Wagtail, Goldfinch and some resident Blue Tits, Great Tits, Dunnocks and Wren.
