Barn Owls are now doing much better this year than first thought, though some areas have been very badly affected. The chicks in the box in central Lincolnshire with the webcam were ringed this morning. There are also six more pairs breeding locally ranging from being still on eggs through to chicks that are nearly fledged. Piles of voles in some boxes suggest that there is now plenty of food.
