The Preliminary results for the BTO's Constant Effort Site ringing for 2013 have just been published and includes the following relating to Willow Tits:-
"The species was only encountered on just 7 of the over 100 CE Sites in the UK. The latest results give little hope of a recovery with the numbers captured this season the lowest on record."
Yet another reason for recording all sightings in the county - who knows when it will be the last!
