I note comments in the minutes re the lack of input into the LBC photo album;
I think this has a pretty simple explanation; why people use other sites to upload photos on Lincs birds is because of the restrictions of size and IQ on the present antequated system; the system was maybe OK 10 year ago with max size of 120kb and 700 pixels per photo but technology moves on and these restrictions are now seriously outdated compared with eg Flickr and Birdguides; to reduce a photo to 120kb from a 18MP files produced huge degradation and this is compounded by the uploader that reduces image quality even further making a good image look less than average;

Whether LBC wish to keep an up to date album or not I think will depend on upgrading the album or maybe moving it to a more representative location

I haven't uploaded any for ages because I found the process to fiddly, which is a shame really cos I don't use anything else and no one ever sees my photos!

And I personally find reducing the size down to the avatar size even worse!

As GPC says what was suitable years ago isn't now, technology has moved on reams.

I also read the minutes but didn't respond thinking what's the point, I'm only a member.
