We really enjoyed the interesting talk by Stuart Butchart - thanks Stuart! Thanks also to our Chairman, Andrew Chick, who has now retired after 5 years at the helm. You have done a great job Andrew! The choice of Phil Espin as your replacement is a good one - best wishes Phil. Roy & Linda |

Thanks to the c70 members that attended last night’s meeting. Dr Stuart Butchart was excellent and truly inspirational (it’s worth listening to http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b038c5ql, to find out more; although when I tried to play the link earlier this evening it wasn't working for some reason?) Thanks to a very quick turn-around by Robert Carr, the minutes from the meeting can be read from the link on http://www.lincsbirdclub.co.uk/Articles ... index.html. As already mentioned, this was my last AGM as chairman of the Lincs Bird Club. I would like to thank everyone who is involved in the LBC AND for all their support and help over the past 5 years. I intend to remain on the LBC committee and continue to support the website. I also intend to remain involved with the production of the annual reports. I am very pleased to report that Phil Espin is taking over as chairman. He will be familiar to many birders in Lincolnshire through his role as East Lincs BTO rep. Thanks Andrew |
