Looking for a bit of information, probably from Lincoln birders.

As you drive south from Whisby on the A46 there is a pit on the left before you get to the jetski pit. Is Apex lake behind the jetski place and non-viewable from the road or does Apex cover the one viewable from the road?

Hope this makes sense?

Cheers
James

I think the one you are talking about is Teal Lake. You get to it by walking through from Whisby. Apex Pit is adjacent to it and is behind the jet ski pit. Apex is a large lake and goes through nearly to Station Road. Millennium Lake is between Apex Pit and Station Road. You can get into the complex from Station Road but parking can be an issue. These pits can be excellent for gulls

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your comprehensive reply. It would be Teal Lake. Drove past it on the way to the A1 yesterday and there looked to be a lot of birdlife on it but you can't really risk looking whilst in a queue of traffic.

Your answer will be useful when reading members' reports from the area.

Cheers
James
