Post subject:  2014 Woodcock Survey and Song Thrush Mimicry

Did my 1st visit this evening between the Willingham Woods Picnic area and Market Rasen Golf Course. Roding Woodcock seen on 5 occasions between 2036 and 2151 but only one at a time. Oystercatchers have been around the Golf Course area for a couple of months and one of the local Song Thrushes has incorporated their piping call in its' repetoire. It's the first time I've heard Song Thrushes mimicking other birds.
