Anyone wishing to view the proposal and have a chance to leave feedback should visit one of the sessions. These will be the largest turbines in the Country if planning is granted. Act now to protect this important habitat. Re Nocton Fen, what is the potential impact (if any) on birdlife? Are any species particularly vulnerable? I sincerely wish more data was available on the effect of UK turbines (onshore and offshore) on birds. The energy companies seem to keep the info under their hats. And organisations such as the RSPB and the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust seem to be relucant to enter robust debate. As a result, most of us are in the dark. Why is there not more transparency on such an important issue? |
