In recent weeks, two intriguing birding locations have come on to the market.
Reports have already appeared in the
Daily Mail and on BBC
Look North about the former RAF control tower at Friskney, near Skegness.
This is due to be sold, assuming it meets its reserve price, at a property auction in Derby on November 26.
But only a few miles away, at Wainfleet, an area of ponds and reedbeds has
also become available (at a more competitive price).
For the benefit anyone with a bit of spare cash, I have posted more info at
http://www.thewryneck.blogspot.co.ukIn the meantime, I must remember to buy that ticket on Saturday..
