I have blogged an item about a storm petrel aboard a North Sea ferry (reported on the Spurn observatory page). http://thewryneck.blogspot.co.uk/ Is there much recorded info about this sort of occurrence? Presumably, it's far from uncommon especially when winds are high. There used to be a club for birders who recorded sightings on offshoire oil/gas rigs, but I'm not sure if this still exists. Their records would also be interesting. Can anyone advise? |
