Just a reminder about this years bird race, with the competition being a week earlier this year there is a chance of some winter visitors still being around. Last years counts for Lincs. were :- Frampton Marsh 94 species, Gibralter Point 84, Far Ings 80, Boultham Mere? (Andy Sims) 57, Manby Flashes (1/5) 44, Donna Nook Realignment Scheme (2/5) 41. Anyone going to give it a try? I'll see if I can better Manby Flashes score. A number of West Midlands reserves are also taking part. Geoff |
