Thanks to Robert Carr, the AGM minutes are already available to download at http://www.lincsbirdclub.co.uk/Articles ... index.html I thought the talk was excellent and the whole evening was most enjoyable.... |

It was a good evening - thanks to all who organised it and for super-quick posting of the minutes. If anyone's interested, I've posted a write-up re Mark Thomas' presentation on my blog |

We are lucky to have such a diligent Secretary of LBC. Rob does a great job. The talk by Mark Thomas was indeed superb and highly educational. Jim I read your blogpost and enjoyed it very much. The only point I would make is that I recollect Mark saying the RSPB sabbatical after 7 years is one month rather than one year you state in your closing paragraphs. I am sure Mark , and John Badley too, would prefer the latter! |

Sorted! http://thewryneck.blogspot.co.uk/ Although I wouldn't go as far as suggesting that Matthew Gonshaw should be considered as a possible guest at the 2017 annual meeting, it would be quite interesting to hear about his motivation and how he operates (or did operate). Not sure what others think, but, on the scale of offending, I would put egg-collecting lower down than killing raptors. |

A small error in the Hon Chairman’s address: I paid for the printing of the peregrine book, which worked out at around 95p per copy. Selling for £3 (£4 online to cover postage etc), LBC gets all the proceeds - a little over £2 per copy. Books sold through St.James book shop attract less profit, as the church take 35% of the cover price. I have just paid for a reprint. regards Geoff |
