If you are interested in birds and feel you would like to be able to identify the birds that can be seen locally, the Group is planning a Guided Walk at Cleethorpes Country Park on the morning of Sunday 8th May. The Walk is open to everybody!!

The Group’s next meeting is at 7.30pm on Monday 16th May when there will be plenty of local interest. Steve Lovell will talk about “The Peregrines of Lincoln Cathedral”. This talk takes place at Corpus Christi Community Centre, corner of Machray Place, Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes. Entry is £3, payable at the door.

Our next trip is on Sunday 22nd May when we will visit the Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s site at Weeting Heath followed by a visit to nearby RSPB Lakenheath. This is a great opportunity to see some species that are very difficult to see anywhere else. Booking is essential.

Contact Martin Francis on (01472) 883436 or martin.francis2@ntlworld for more details about any of these events, or go to our website, http://www.rspb.org.uk/groups/grimsby/
