When I worked at Chambers Farm Wood (until 2007), Nightingales were a feature every May. I know they occur at Whisby but I haven't seen any reports of Nightingales at any of the Bardney Limewoods for some time - has anyone heard any there recently? |

Hi Stewart I only have information up to and including 2014 for the Bardney Limewoods, but it would appear that Nightingales are still just holding on in the area. The following info is from the very soon to be published 2014 LBR; 'a single bird present at Chambers Farm Wood from Apr 30th to May 23rd with a second bird recorded on May 14th' Regards Grahame |
