Unfortunately, public access has been closed to an area of scrubland at the back of Grimsby Town FC which sometimes attracted shrikes and other scarce migrants (including a bluethroat a few years back).
The land is owned by ports company ABP which has successfully blocked authorisation of a long-established (but unofficial) public right of way.
The birds will still come, but it probably won't be easy to see them.
