I have today received info from Simon Spavin that one of the group of five Spoonbills that he photographed on 22nd July was colour ringed with red and yellow.
On 2nd July there were five Spoonbills at Gib Point one of which had lime green colour rings. No sign of red/yellow.
Does anybody have any contributions to make on this subject??

One of the 5 spoonbills at Alkborough has a large orange with black digit
above knee on right leg and a metal above knee on left, seen on 070807
John.
