It is easier than the Breeding Bird Survey and does not involve collecting habitat data. It involves two winter visits to a defined area of 2k x 2k (a tetrad in TF17) of your own choice followed by two summer visits to the same tetrad. There is no requirement to visit the tetrad in subsequent years (although I can allocated further tetrads if you are keen to take them on and I would encourage you to consider choosing more than one).
You simply record the birds on your 1-2 hour visit.
There are a minimum of 144 tetrads to be covered in West Lincolnshire over the next four years and I have already had a good response of help but I bet your local patch is not covered yet!
