I came across a bird song I'd never heard before in an out of the way part of Gib point scrub on Sunday. I waited for ages to identify the critter but it never emerged and I've since been trawling the internet trying to get a recording of it with no success.

The song or call was short, approx 3 seconds, and the best description I can give it was that it was a loudish liquid / fluid warble. Only heard it twice but it was distinctive and I'm sure I'd recognize it again.

Any ideas or tips on where I can download / listen to recordings?

Hi Sascha,

Try the following site for bird sounds, it'll keep you busy for hours, let us know what you think it is though !
