Post subject:  Skylarks & Mpipits inland.

Request for help please.

Doing my job chasing birds at RAf Waddington this last fortnight or so have had Skylarks & Mpips in large amounts on and off the airfield.
From Oct to end of Jan over the last 11 yrs if I see 5 Sky a month it is a major occasion but getting anywhere upto 70 down the length of the runway on one run North to South and these one,s have moved into full breeding mode even mating! being seen.
Mpips usually easy to see in small amounts but getting 70-80 together. I was wondering if similar amounts are being seen inland elsewhere in the county and what it is like on the coastal stretch?

Any feedback would be apppreciated.

150 Fieldfare, 5 Redwing, 30 Blackbird seen on the Golfcourse there today in a flock.

Not seen a Merlin yet, we usually have our first one around the end of August.

Thank's Brian.
