are there any Hen Harriers on the Lincs coast? just doing a summary of records this winter which seems to indicate that their fortunes have declined even further;

no wonder really when even the royals openly blast them (oops I see the tower looming)

Personally speaking, I actually vomited, when I read how these "royals" claimed no knowledge of these slaughters when questioned by the RSPB/Police.

Not seen or heard of one all autumn/winter so far, could be due to a prince chappie charging about resplendant in full nazi reggalia.

I did see one at Frieston Shore about 3 weeks ago, Katherine also reported seeing one a few days earlier, also at Frieston. The one I saw was an adult male.

There have been at least three on Frampton Marsh - a near adult male (looks like a full adult from distance), a nice orangy juv and a presumed adult female. Havn't seen any of them for at least a week though now. No Short-eared Owls down this way as yet.

I did love the comment from the estate henry who suggested that as there were no corpses then the incident probably had not happened!

A male seen by myself and a friend in the village who has also seen a ringtail at a local fen. I last saw the male on October 29 but short days and work have prevented me returning so far....

Hi gpc,
the only way to shame this disgraceful event is to let the national papers know of the latest situation,the sun which i see everyday-dont order it but see it,has not as far as i know said anymore on it,with what i now know,thanks to links provided ,it should be supplied with all the facts,i feel sure the way they go on, they would love to call it a whitewash./cover up/whatever,might contact them thurs and see,as in my mind and no doubt everyones this needs bringing back to the publics attention!!.
