On my way to Gib on a day off last week, I covered a couple of tetrads near Friskney. Plenty of Tree Sparrows, Stonechat and Rock Pipit the only highlights. I was surprised that so few tetrads are allocated so far in East Lincs: http://blx1.bto.org/atlas-results/allocline.html Presumably a few Skeg/Boston birders are just biding their time and are poised to register right now... Already doing three tetrads in the Boston/Frampton area, and thats all without a car. Anyone can do a tetrad, and there are not that many worthwhile excuses. "Can't be bothered" is of course, a good excuse. |
