Post subject:  Baysgarth Park - Barton

I have recently had a meeting with North Lincs council and Im thrilled that I have been given the go-ahead to provide a bird feeding station and, in the future, nest boxes etc in Baysgarth Park> This will be run on a total independent and voluntary basis by Mick and myself.

It will be situated in the vicinity of the small car park to the left of the entrance to the Leisure Centre.

For those who dont know Baysgarth Park, it is a beautiful green space and has a healthy bird and wildlife population and having this kind of facility will assist me to establish what is or isnt there. It is not a heavily birded place so it will be interesting to see what is about.

It will be up and running in the next week or so and I hope eventually it will be on a par with the similar feeding station in Bradley Woods in Grimsby, which is a delight and I know a lot of people get pleasure from it. Fingers crossed it will be a success!
