Post subject:  Collared Dove

I regularly hear about four Collared Doves calling near my house. But one of them seems to have a falsetto voice as its call is an octave higher than the others. It's not unusual for birds to have slight individual vocal variations but this seems a bit extreme.

Well, when you get to the question of who's normal, a lot of people would call us twitchers "...not normal...", sleeping out in cars, wearing pants for 4 days, going 300 miles and back just to see 1 bird that looks totally the same as a Kestrel, throwing up on a ship....

Man, those were good times that we can laugh at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
