I have been involved in the RSPB Volunteer & Farmer Alliance Project for at least 6 years now and I can recommend getting involved.....

Invitation to an RSPB Event:Helping Farmland Birds in the Fens
Saturday 28th March 2009
Park Farm, Thorney
10.30am- 2.30pm

• ‘Introducing the RSPB Fenland Farmland Bird Recovery Project’
with Nicola Williamson, RSPB Fenland Farmland Bird Adviser
• ‘How you can help farmland birds by surveying a farm local to you’
with Emily Field, RSPB Volunteer & Farmer Alliance Project Officer
GUIDED FARM WALK
• ‘How the RSPB is helping farmers deliver for farmland birds in the East’
with Simon Tonkin, RSPB Farmland Conservation Officer
Attendance is FREE, please phone Helen Leach on 01603 66 00 66
or email Helen.leach@rspb.org.uk to book and for more information
Please bring a packed lunch, and suitable footwear for wet/ muddy conditions
