While visiting Rimac this afternoon,I managed to find a single male Small Red-eyed Damselfly on the main dipping pond.It showed fairly well resting on pond weed,but occasionally flying about.Also observed at Rimac were at least 95 Ruddy Darter,an amazing count!. Regards, Steve. |

Having looked several times for small red eyed Steve, and seen none , thats the only record i know of this year, so well done, yes ruddy darters are usally common on the reserve. regards John. |

4 Red-eyed seen at Rimac pond on the 21st. 1 today in rather blustery conditions but sunny. Also a single Emperor appeared very briefly. Peter |
