At least 6 Red-veined Darters, including one pair mating, were seen well by myself and Rick Bennett this morning. 4 near north hide at Tennyson and 2 by the Mere.

can you get at these Andy or do you have to sit in a hide! photography from a hide of dragons is not recommended---weather looks poor for Sunday though but may try next week

Yes they are accessible. We saw them on the path leading to Tennyson north hide (including a pair mating) and on the track past the mere.

Even in windy conditions they were fairly obliging earlier this week and I managed to get a few shots of them exactly where Andy said. One in the album
