Have posted a pic in the album, what i believe is a black tailed skimmer, only it seems a bit different to the usual colours, can anyone confirm id. Colin Pumfrett. |

Colin Your photo is indeed a Black-tailed Skimmer, and an old over mature female which has become much darker than the 'yellow and black' younger individuals. The blue grey pruinescence on the abdomen is not untypical. Regards Grahame |
